Since 2010, the world observes Transgender Day of Visibility (TDoV) each year on March 31st to raise awareness about transgender people. It is a day to celebrate the lives and contributions of trans people, while also drawing attention to the poverty, discrimination, and violence faced by the trans community.

We're taking to the streets! State Street will be closed as we march from the State Capitol to Washington Square. Bring your trans flags and posters to show Salt Lake City that we stand for Trans Visibility!
Don’t have a trans flag? No problem — help carry ours! The Utah Pride Center is bringing a massive 200ft long trans flag for everyone to rally behind. Let’s make this march unforgettable!

Join us at Washington Square for an open mic sharing circle where we can all let our voices be heard. Take the stage to share your thoughts, experiences, and feelings in an open and safe space.

We're shaking things up this year with a community art brunch centered on Trans Visibility. Paint a self-portrait that reveals your authentic identity, or create something totally unique. Each piece will be combined together as a collage to be hung at a local community center.
